IDAHOBIT 2026

Melton City Council will recognise the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexism and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT), at several workshops aimed at celebrating our LGBTQIA+ community. A series of street flags will also fly throughout Melton and Caroline Springs.

Observed annually on 17 May, IDAHOBIT seeks to raise awareness of discrimination faced by LGBTQIA+ communities and to celebrate progress toward equality.
