Free Community Led Workshops

To celebrate National Volunteer Week in 2025 (19-25 May), Melton City Council invited senior community members to express their interest in sharing their talents, wisdom and gifts with other community members. The project has been aptly named the ‘Gifts of Experience Project’.

As a result of the community call out, you can now browse and book into several free workshops across the municipality including painting, Sudoku, fondant flower making, even an afternoon in-conversation session with a Hey Hey It’s Saturday! alumni!

Bookings for all activities are now open! You can browse the list of events and activities available on this webpage. Bookings are essential for all activities.
