The Kurunjang Community Gardening Project is about growing a sustainable food system in the heart of Kurunjang. It brings local Melton and Kurunjang residents together to grow fresh produce, learn hands-on gardening skills, and take part in a variety of workshops and community activities.

We’re cultivating a food community, where everyone can have access to fresh affordable produce, and the skills to grow some of their own food at home, at school, or in the Kurunjang Community Garden.

We’d love for you to join in growing food, sharing produce, and learning or teaching new food growing and cooking skills.

Kurunjang Community Gardening Group
Our garden group meets each week on Thursdays from 9am – 12pm to grow food, build skills, and work together on the garden whilst enjoying a cuppa and a good chat along the way. It’s relaxed, practical, and open to everyone — no experience needed.
