Come along and chat with other people from the local Iraqi community, catch up with friends, meet new people, and learn new skills.
The Iraqi Support and Social Group is an open, social, educational, and recreational group that addresses the needs of the local community. Many people from the Iraqi community attend this group to break their isolation, make new friends, share their stories and positive experiences, learn how to navigate various systems, and increase their knowledge to integrate into local society.
Being part of a group is an important part of human nature. Social connections and increased communication help boost a positive mindset and a sense of belonging.
These group sessions are delivered in partnership with Western Health and Stevenson House.
