Bookings for this activity open at 9am on Tuesday 29 April.

The Little Sprouts Program are here to engage your child in their interactive, play-based, fun and inspiring sustainability education session!

This activity introduces children to worm farming, exploring what earthworms can and can’t eat, the biology of earthworms, and how a worm farm works. Your child will become familiar with different types of waste, including organic food waste and other material that can go in a worm farm rather than to landfill. This is a fun way to make rich fertiliser and mulch for the garden whilst teaching children important facts about the environment and sustainability.

This session is suitable for children aged 3-5 years of age. Parent supervision is required for the duration of the session. We welcome you to join us afterwards for light refreshments.
