Join us for a fun and interactive Plastic Recycling Workshop, where children and families get hands-on with real recycling and build awareness on the negative impacts of plastic in our local marine environment. In this workshop children will:
- Discover the power of recycling: Learn how plastic pollution harms our oceans and what we can do to help.
- Get hands-on: Children will collect, sort, wash, and shred plastic waste, seeing firsthand how recycling works.
- Create something new: Using purpose-built machinery, each child will manufacture a 100% recycled plastic product to keep, turning trash into treasure.
- Make a real impact: By recycling local plastic waste, children will see how small actions can create big changes—both in their community and around the world.
Let’s protect our oceans and give plastic a second life—one recycled creation at a time.
This workshop is suitable for primary age children. Parental supervision is required for the duration of the session.
RSVP is only required per child (parents/guardians do not need a ticket).
