To mark IDAHOBIT in 2025 (17 May), Melton City Council will hold a pre-IDAHOBIT flag raising event on Friday 16 May in front of the Melton Civic Centre on High Street, Melton.

Council invites community members to join us in an effort to promote awareness, understanding and acceptance of the diversity and inclusion in our municipality and to take a stand against intolerance and discrimination against the LGBTIQA+ community.

This event compliments several other community led IDAHOBIT events across the City of Melton which seek to promote social inclusion, awareness and celebration of the local LGBTIQA+ community who call our City home.
