Are you a coach, president or leader in your sports club looking to grow your talent pool, attract more sponsors and boost team performance?

To make your sports club a club of choice, join us for this 1.5-hour workshop on how to retain and attract new players and volunteers through fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment—one where women, girls, and people of all backgrounds feel valued and engaged, strengthening both your club and the broader community.

In this workshop you will gain practical insights on:

• how clubs can play a role in preventing gender-based violence
• Council’s new Allocation of Sport and Recreation Facilities Policy and Fair Access Action Plan and what it means for your club
• key steps you can take to create a more welcoming and supportive environment for all members.

Following the workshop, clubs will have the opportunity to apply for free tailored support from GenWest and Council to develop action plans that promote inclusivity and increase participation from women and girls.
