This is an 8 week program starting 2 May running every Saturday from 10:30am.
Restore your mind and body with this gentle hatha and restorative inspired yoga class designed to calm your body, mind and spirit through exercise, breathing and relaxation.
Delivered by our passionate yoga instructor Smita, this class has been specifically designed for the unique needs of seniors providing an opportunity to stretch, unwind, and release tension while strengthening and promoting flexibility in the body.
Classes start with a gentle warm up, followed by a series of guided poses, postures and breathing practices ending with a short period of relaxation to quieten the mind and rejuvenate the body.
Suitable for seniors of all fitness levels. All poses can be modified to suit your own unique ability. Please bring along a yoga mat, two yoga blocks, a strap, towel and water bottle to each session and wear comfortable clothes.
ENROLMENT INSTRUCTIONS
This program is set up with a part payment option. You can choose to pay for one block at a time (4 sessions each) or the whole term (8 sessions).

About Your Instructor
This program is delivered by our experienced teacher Smita. In addition to being an accomplished and passionate yoga instructor, Smita has a Bachelor’s Degree in Homoeopathy and a Masters in Public Health. She brings a holistic approach to all of her teachings in order to support the connection between body and mind, physical and mental wellbeing.
